Electric Guitar or P Bass
Have you ever wanted to build your own electric guitar or bass? Hot Strings Guitar Shop has designed a course that covers everything you need to get the job done. We use wonderfully outfitted kits and teach you the entire process. You will learn finishing, assembly, adjustments and wiring…which will not only help you build your guitar but also show you how to make important adjustments that will help you in the future.
Hot Strings supplies everything you need. Our expertly equipped shop has three student workstations, electronics bench, woodworking equipment and all of the set-up tools needed to make your guitar sing. Taught by Jamie Boss, an experienced luthier and teacher, each class has a maximum of three students, allowing maximum student-instructor inter-action during the course.

This class consists of 2.5 hour classes, on 8 evenings or Saturday afternoons for a total of 20 hours. No woodworking or electrical experience is required to build your own electric guitar or bass! All wood building materials and tools are provided. The student will build an electric guitar choosing from four styles of guitar or a P Bass. Signups are on a first come-first served basis and spots fill up fast.
